Ultimate Road Warrior Notebook
I’ve migrated from heavy overheating Dell Lattitude D800 to small and light IBM Thinkpad X31.
Despite small screen size 1024×768 i really like notebook.
- It is ulitimately light
- seems to be faster than my old dell notebook
- battery last much longer. im at 3 hours 20 minites with internal battery, and i didn’t use yet all available powersaving options
- It doesn’t overheat like my old notebook did
Number my colleges from Red Hat have a same laptop, so i decided to
build set of rpms which enable or configure IBM specific functionality.
